Our second stay at this Hotel after thinking long and hard whether to return or look for an alternative. Elizabeth, the General Manager had just taken over the hotel in November and assured us that changes were planned, particularly with regard to the food menu, the quality and the availability. On that basis we decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and rebook. We certainly made the right decision You cannot fault this Hotel for cleanliness. The rooms are spotless with excellent shower and bathroom facilities. Sheets changed everyday and any issues dealt with promptly. The menu has improved as has the quality of food and availability, although this is still work in progress according to Elizabeth.

Stratigic location on a quite street between the busy utako market, walking distance from Shoprite Jabi Lake Mall, close to the intersection that takes to Mabushi, lifecamp and the express leading to wuse2 or Maitama. As a busy business man, it’s all about location and services. This hideout hotel is ideal for a quite stay where you recharge at night with no awkward noises from neighborhood, superb service, friendly staff that are well trained, free barbing, 24hr restaurant and room service.

Quite disappointed!
Actually quite disappointed!
The hotel was under renovation. We were not notified regarding this prior to arrival, even when we arrived, we were not told.
When i spoke to the duty manager regarding it, he said he will speak to the general manager and get back to me. This Never happened!
Also on the second morning we were having breakfast, there was a big mouse that was trying to sneak out of the hole in the wall into the restaurant. Very bad!
There was a poor selection of TV channels; half of what was available wasnt even viewable, just a black screen.
Basically we didnot receive what we saw on their website or on the ********** app.
The room was ok and the only thing i enjoyed was there meals, rice and chicken or with goat meat. Good portions.

So good so far
This place is just basic. Nothing exceptional for the price. Their team especially at the restaurant needs to get a proper training in hospitality.
Moreover the towels wasnt good for the standard. Indeed, they were tattered. Improvements must be done there. The gym is extremely tiny. A bit disappointed by the premise.

In general, given the price, cleanliness, and location, it is ok value for money as long as you're not expecting 4 or 5 star amenities. My bathroom had a faulty air vent which the maintenance team was unable to fix, and I was told I couldn't get a different room. The food selection is more limited than it used to be. Staff are helpful and friendly.
